About Us:

Our Mission:
The Learning Curve’s mission is to provide the highest quality childcare with an emphasis on security and academic environment, with a home care setting in a stand-alone structure.
Safety and Security:The Learning Curve, while staying focused on the importance of environment, has implemented computer-based video*, and Internet video broadcast technologies*, that take the safety and security of every child to a much higher standard.
A powerful value added result of this will be the ability for parents and guardians to observe their children remotely, offering them a unique ability to "stay in touch" during the course of the day. This will contribute to a level of customer satisfaction and peace of mind that is unavailable in other childcare providers.
Technology:
The Learning Curve has been noted for our use of technology that is unmatched by any other Early Childhood Education center in the United States. TLC has led the way in finding and using technologies that we feel provide benefits to our families that are unavailable in any other center. TLC strongly believes in effective communication with parents and that parent involvement in the classroom provides the child with the greatest chance of success in the future.
Internet Viewable Cameras:
Internet Viewing is available in our Infant, One year-old and Two year-old classrooms. As parents, we understand how difficult it is to drop your child off and wonder what they do all day. As young children have often not yet developed the ability to express verbally the activities they do, we have provided a way for parents to be involved in the classroom remotely.
Instant Alert:
The Instant Alert System for Schools™ from Honeywell is another industry first for The Learning Curve. Instant Alert allows TLC to provide parents with instant information through a variety of means and allows parents to choose how they would like to receive communications from TLC. Instant Alert is TLC's primary way of communicating with parents, from routine matters such as classroom newsletters, event notices and personal communications, to any type of emergency notification. Parents can choose from receiving a telephone call, cell phone call, email, text message, or a message to their PDA, in any combination. No more lost notes in the cubby or missed postings at the door. More effective communication between TLC and parents means a better education for your child.
Security of children in today’s world also requires more diligence than provided by many of the industry’s large corporate centers. The Learning Curve distinguishes itself in this area through the use of biometric technology.
Biometric Door Security:
The Learning Curve was the first childcare facility in the United States to provide a security system of this type. Biometric Fingerprint Technology is a means of electronically capturing a fingerprint to grant access to our classrooms. The Learning Curve's lobby is open to the public; however, access to the classrooms requires a fingerprint verification to unlock the door. Biometrics eliminates the possibility of entry without authorization and ensures the security of the children at our facility. Safety and security are of the highest priority at The Learning Curve and are unmatched by any competitor.
History:
The Learning Curve is the future of childcare and early childhood education. We believe each child will reach maximum potential with the support and network of educated parents, caregivers and teachers.

About the Owners:
Having kids today is enough of a challenge without having to worry about who is going to watch them while your working, or if they are getting the attention you want for them.
We had been fortunate with home care for our third child, Kaylie. However, when we attempted to go the same route with our fourth and youngest, Maximus, we discovered that we were not as lucky. We were not successful in finding adequate care from a home provider and often had scheduling problems. We began looking into corporate daycare centers, but were dissatisfied with the lack of personalized care and unimaginative environment that we found.
This is where we began our journey to open our own daycare facility, The Learning Curve. Our vision is to provide a safe, caring environment for young children that will allow them to learn and grow. We created The Learning Curve so we can provide a personalized and nurturing environment, similar to home care, but with the flexibility and stability of a large corporate center. In addition, we have set a higher set of standards than currently required by the state.
It is our sincere hope that you will find The Learning Curve to be the finest daycare provider in the valley.
